Using the latest research and developments in strength and conditioning as well as our experience working with world class wrestlers, the Overtime Strength and Conditioning program will provide each wrestler with the necessary training to become strong, powerful, and well-conditioned enough to persevere through the rigorous training that is required to be a successful wrestler. This training is especially important for athletes who wish to compete beyond high school at a high level.
The Overtime Strength and Conditioning program takes all of the latest research and findings in strength and conditioning and strategically places them into a well thought out progression that ensures quality strength gains and the necessary peaking before big events. Some of our current and past greats have gone this program and have achieved significant strength grains like Ben Apland, Bob Barnhisel, Mike Benefiel, Chris and Nick Dardanes, Lee Munster, Nick Proctor, and many more. The wrestling-specific workouts are targeted to help each wrestler meet their goals, whether to gain weight or to gain strength while staying at the same weight class.
Lee Munster, an Illinois State Champion and USA Wrestling Junior National Finalist who was recently featured on the cover of the national magazine ESPN Rise, had this to say about the Overtime Strength and Conditioning program:
"Overtime strength and conditioning is a highly developed program that allows athletes to achieve their full potential. This program forces an increase in strength along with maintaining speed. I have moved up numerous weight classes every year and the weight lifting program has allowed me to be among the strongest and quickest wrestlers in my class. The power I have achieved through this program has allowed me to be among the top wrestlers in the nation."
